Social media and Bespoke tailoring are fast becoming friends as educating and soliciting potential clients is more important than ever for small brands and tailors producing a high end service and product. Its something that the industry is slowly waking up to. I myself have always been conscious of the need for an internet presence especially since I do not operate from a store. Its only recently I have had the time to invest in the blog and think about social media for "David Reeves". Since I look after my baby boy at the weekend while my wife works this has forced me to stay in one place for a couple of days rather than run around the city. While I still work constantly the only work I can seem to do on the weekends is on the computer.
This weekend aside from filling in order forms from a busy week I have been updating my Linkedin profile which should give people a greater understanding of my experience and background I am also working on a face book page which should be up and running next week.

In other news some people may notice some missing posts on "6000 Stitches" I am currently editing these posts to make them a little more concise and easier to follow as a series. In "real time" we are at the forward fitting of the 6000 stitches suit but the blog posts have rather a lot of catching up to do. I think the 6000 stitches posts really show how in depth the process of making bespoke suits really is, even documenting the process is a challenging task!
