Year 4: My first studio

I moved into my first shop/studio in Union square which was about as big as my changing room is now, you may remember it. Some good times and long hours in that office.

Before that, I would visit clients at home or work, conducting meetings in rented offices or at the Dormeuil Showroom. One of my favorite pieces from this year is a luxurious wool-cashmere cloth coat with a detachable mink collar, sourced locally from the New York Fur District. As a bespoke suit tailor in NYC, I’ve always valued the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into creating truly exceptional pieces, like this one, blending classic style with modern sophistication.

Classy in a ‘Gilded Age’ way.
